About The Position

Administers care to sick and injured persons in pre-hospital and interfacility setting as directed by paramedics, local protocols, and physician orders. Responds to emergency calls for medical assistance, assesses the situation, obtains a basic medical history and physical examination of the patient, and provides emergency care at the scene and during transit to the hospital.

Requirements

Unrestricted license to practice as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
Completion of CDPHE-recognized IV Approval course
Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
Current driver license, or ability to obtain prior to start date, with minimum 3 years of driving experience and acceptable MVR.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Advanced EMT or Paramedic preferred.
Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
