About The Position

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is seeking an Emergency Medical Services Outreach Coordinator to bridge the gap between VMFH and regional EMS providers, ensuring seamless, high-quality prehospital and emergency care. This role involves cultivating relationships with community EMS agencies, emergency departments, and medical directors to foster open communication and identify areas for care improvement. The coordinator will lead educational initiatives, analyze patient care data for performance improvement, and act as the primary advocate for trauma, stroke, and cardiac service alignment between field providers and hospital systems. Success in this position requires strong clinical knowledge of prehospital standards, proven experience in leading professional education and quality assurance programs, and excellent interpersonal skills for navigating complex clinical partnerships within various regulatory environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and four years of related work experience in an acute care hospital in Emergency, Trauma or Critical Care.
• Registered Nurse: WA (RN:WA)
• OR Graduation from a state-approved EMG-Paramedic education program and two years of related work experience.
• Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic: WA (EMT-P:WA)
