About The Position

This role involves high-level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement, and carpet cleaning/re-installation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications. The position requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining company equipment, participating in an on-call schedule, assisting with warehousing and facility tasks, and supporting team members. The role also demands excellent communication skills, the ability to be assertive, empathetic, inspiring, and engaging, and the capacity to work independently. A satisfactory background check, safe vehicle operation, and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are necessary. The technician must also demonstrate stress management, composure, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and maintain confidentiality, while adhering to Paul Davis Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving Basics. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Customer Service experience
1 plus year experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schooling
Excellent Communication skills
Ability to be assertive, empathetic, inspiring, and engaging to others
Ability to work independently
Ability to pass and maintain a satisfactory background check
Ability to operate a vehicle safely
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, One Drive)

Nice To Haves

IICRC Certified, as an asset, Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification
One or more years’ experience within the restoration industry

Responsibilities

High-level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement, and carpet cleaning/re-installation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
Assist in warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary.
Assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.
