Baptist Health is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to our Emergency Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed EMT or CNA Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
- Maintaining a safe environment.
- Collecting lab specimens.
- Intake and Output monitoring.
- Electronic medical record documentation.
- Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
