Wolfson Children’s Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Flex/Float Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time night shift opportunity. Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment. Requirements
- 3-5 years Clinical Nursing Experience Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Bachelor of Science, Nursing
Responsibilities
- Accepts assignment daily (as frequently as every 4 hours) to all Wolfson nursing units as needed.
- Provides general and intensive patient care to the pediatric population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process.
- Administers medications per hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates professionalism when interacting with others.
