Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit working in the pediatric unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital Jacksonville Fl, (Downtown) This is a Full Time Nights opportunity 7:00pm-7:00am. Requirements

• CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Documents observations on assigned patients.
• Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
• Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
