About The Position

Assists with basic patient care based on the individual patient under direct supervision of the registered nurse. Provides for personal care and comfort. Maintains environment that is prepared for patient care to include equipment and supplies as well as a safe, clean environment. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Implements directions from physicians and nursing staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of experience in acute hospital setting or ambulance
• Current MT CNA License or EMT certification
• BLS or obtained within first 6 months of hire
• Medical Terminology
• Basic patient care activities
• Basic computer knowledge and office skills
• Criminal background check
• Drug Screening
• Health and Immunizations Screening
