About The Position

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to patients with a wide spectrum of medical needs, from non-critical conditions to emergencies, including urgent mental health support. The Emergency Department receives all patients, whether they arrive independently or by emergency transport. Staff are trained and certified to manage critical cardiac and trauma cases, including pediatric cases.

The position has varied shifts and requires working every other weekend and providing holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license upon application.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications must be obtained.
• Varied shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Emergency Department patients with needs ranging from non-critical to emergent conditions, including urgent mental health support.
• Care for patients arriving independently or through emergency transport.
• Handle critical cardiac and trauma cases, including cases involving children.
