About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in the Emergency Department, caring for patients with a diverse range of medical needs, from non-critical to emergent situations, including urgent mental health care. Patients may arrive by walking in or through emergency transport. Emergency Department staff are certified to care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in an emergency setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Shifts vary, and every other weekend is required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• Demonstrated experience providing high-quality nursing care in an emergency setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of emergency medical protocols and procedures.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions.

Nice To Haves

• CEN certification preferred.
