Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Massachusetts RN license
  • BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • Strong clinical judgment and technical skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Vaccinated against influenza (flu)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care while coordinating across the care continuum.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Develop culturally competent plans of care based on patient needs.
  • Provide age-appropriate and evidence-based nursing interventions.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans.
  • Build strong relationships with patients and families.
  • Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventative care.

  • Apply evidence-based practice and clinical scholarship.
  • Maintain competency in technical and specialty nursing skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement and regulatory readiness efforts.
  • Safely delegate tasks in accordance with MA Nurse Practice Act (244 CMR 3.0).
  • Maintain accountability for patient outcomes and delegated tasks.
