The position involves caring for patients as delegated by the registered nurse, completing activities of daily living, taking vital signs, collecting specimens, performing basic clinical procedures, assisting with patient nutrition, supporting safety and infection control, acting as a patient safety attendant when needed, and assisting with the orientation of new colleagues. The role also requires adherence to Lahey Clinic Guiding Principles, Mission Statement, and Goals, as well as all Lahey Clinic Policies and behavioral expectations. The position emphasizes maintaining courteous and effective interactions, demonstrating an understanding of job expectations, and contributing to customer service and quality improvement initiatives.
