About The Position

At Wilson Medical Center, we're dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care when it matters most. We're looking for a skilled and caring Licensed Physician (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our emergency team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. In this role, you'll provide vital emergency clinical services, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness and injury, under the supervision of a physician. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative care team while bringing your expertise, compassion, and quick thinking to patients in high-pressure, fast-paced settings. You'll also have the opportunity to manage the entire treatment process for patients admitted to WMC and could be available as a provider in our RHC. You'll create and recommend individualized treatment plans, record medical histories, and ensure patient records are updated with the most recent findings. Your expertise will be key in supporting our patients through every step of their care journey. We have a 5-provider rotation with each Hospitalist providing 7-day coverage every 5th week.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program with current state certifications.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, team-based environments.
