About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist to help meet the growing demand of our hospitalist program at Franciscan Health Crown Point. This is a high performing, well-respected group with a great culture of teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction and display exceptional interpersonal skills. The role involves a flexible full-time schedule with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., focusing on the observation/clinical decision unit with an average inpatient volume of 8-12 patients. The setting includes a limited ICU where all admissions require Pulmonary/Critical Care Consult. Franciscan Health Crown Point has 233 operating beds, including 16 ICU and 22 PCU beds, and offers strong collegial support from specialists. Requirements

• One to two years of experience with inpatient care and Internal Medicine
• Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Master's Degree
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Physician Assistant (PA) or Nationally Recognized Certification
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to ensure delivery of the highest quality of patient care
• Focus on the observation/clinical decision unit
