  • Experience working in an ISO/IEC 17025 environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute on-site EMC/EMI compliance projects from early development through product release, in line with program schedules.
  • Perform pre-compliance and formal compliance EMC testing and maintain the associated technical documentation.
  • Support EMC lab workflow, including test request intake, scheduling, chamber and equipment allocation, and tracking test status through report issuance.
  • Plan and build EMC test setups, including system and EUT configuration, cabling and grounding layout, support and auxiliary equipment, test interface hardware, and system-performance monitoring during testing.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain EMC test equipment.
  • Interpret and perform EMC test methods, including radiated and conducted emissions, electrostatic discharge, radiated and conducted immunity, electrical fast transients, surge, magnetic field immunity, voltage dips and interrupts, and harmonics and flicker.
  • Independently conduct EMC testing in semi-anechoic chambers, shielded rooms, and in-situ environments, based on system location and feasibility.
  • Troubleshoot design deviations and test failures and recommend mitigation techniques to internal hardware and design teams.
  • Prepare EMC test plans, test procedures, and documentation; participate in EMC design reviews; and perform EMC requirement analysis.
