  • Develop EMC design requirements, participate in EMC design reviews, and identify risks early in the development cycle.
  • Ensure designs comply with global EMC regulations and standards, preparing detailed test reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
  • Work closely with hardware, software, and mechanical engineering teams to identify and mitigate EMC risks during the design process.
  • Identify and resolve EMC issues in prototypes and production units, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Use simulation tools (e.g., EMC Charge Plus or similar) to predict and mitigate EMC issues during the design phase.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior engineers on EMC design principles and best practices.
  • Develop and execute EMC test plans for pre-compliance and compliance testing, including EMI, ESD, radiated/conducted immunity, and other electromagnetic environmental effects.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain EMC test equipment such as EMI receivers, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, LISNs, DC/single-phase/three-phase power sources, amplifiers, and comb generators.
