About The Position

PSCI is seeking a qualified software engineer to perform requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time C++ software related to Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) for missile programs. This is an on-site, full-time contract position in Grand Prairie, Texas, working a 4/10 schedule on the first shift. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance with the most recent investigation conducted within the last five years. The stated hourly rate is $113.22. The contract duration is October 19, 2026, through October 15, 2027. The position is non-exempt.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Secret clearance, with the most recent investigation within the last five years.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in real-time embedded C++ programming.
• Hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) experience.

Nice To Haves

• Ada experience.
• Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
