As an Embedded Engineering Co-Op, you will work alongside full-time employees and industry professionals to improve existing products and develop new and existing products in an agile environment. The co-op lasts seven months, either May or June 2027 through December 2027, or January 2027 through August 2027. You must take an academic term off and work full time during the co-op. Each co-op has a dedicated mentor to help navigate Rockwell Automation, ramp up in the code base, and remove daily blockers. The role offers exposure to object-oriented design and analysis, the full development life cycle, agile methodology, system design, test-driven development, test automation, and build and configuration management. Rockwell Automation employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation outside the office.
