About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Embedded Software Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement embedded C/C++ software supporting missile programs. This role includes requirements analysis, architecture and design, implementation, integration, simulation support, and work supporting flight testing of missile subsystems.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 11+ years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Grand Prairie, TX.
• Proficiency in C/C++, including C++ version 11 or higher.
• Proficiency with Linux systems.
• Experience with real-time operating environments.
• Previous hardware-in-the-loop experience working with real-time embedded systems.
• Experience with simulation systems.
• Ability to perform software requirements analysis.
• Ability to develop software architecture and design.
• Ability to implement and integrate embedded software.
• Ability to support flight testing of missile subsystems.
