About The Position

Sibylline is seeking a GSOC Analyst to join a client's security team in an embedded role. This position is primarily responsible for alarm management, customer service, facilities support, and incident response within a 24/7 security operations center. The analyst will also contribute to enhancing threat intelligence capabilities to assess the likelihood and impact of various threats against the client's people, assets, operations, and reputation. This role is ideal for recent graduates, early-career security professionals, or individuals interested in entering the security industry. The GSOC utilizes tools such as global access control and alarm monitoring systems, integrated video monitoring systems, enhanced visitor management systems, and in-house applications for threat and incident detection. The role requires working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with the ability to research, analyze information, and produce analysis under strict deadlines. The position involves working weekends and holidays on a rotation schedule, specifically for the Day Shift, Tuesday - Saturday. Flexibility, adaptability, and self-starting abilities are crucial, as is the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. While the GSOC Supervisor and Manager provide daily oversight, the analyst will also have access to Sibylline’s embed management team for full support, guidance, training, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or related fields) or equivalent work experience in fields such as security, research and analysis, investigations, or customer service.
  • Highly attentive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal abilities.
  • Strong team player who can work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and flexibility to support 24/7 operations, including overtime.
  • Flexibility and ability to work all shifts (24/7 operations), willingness to assist the team with overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred foreign language skills.
  • Preferred experience with mass notification systems (e.g., Everbridge).
  • Familiarity with access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident management platforms.
  • Preferred experience with security applications such as Lenel and Genetec.
  • Preferred experience with social media monitoring tools (e.g., Dataminr).

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely response to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls for service.
  • CCTV and alarm monitoring escalation and triage requests.
  • Evaluate and process information received from all available sources, and respond with appropriate communication, analytic reporting, and incident response procedures.
  • Ensure all forms of communications, such as written reports, emails, phone conversations, and personal interactions are conducted in a confidential, courteous, and professional manner and documented appropriately.
  • Maintain knowledge of the GSOC specific standard operating procedures.
  • Manage physical security and control functions at designated locations.
  • Communicate security issues or emergency situations by escalating information to department leadership, local law enforcement, emergency services, such as EMT, fire departments, etc.
  • Participate regularly in security/safety training programs to stay current on critical GSOC responsibilities and competencies inclusive of drills and tabletop exercises.
  • Engage with Sibylline Intel Ops and other embedded teams to enhance skills, knowledge and best practices, with a view to developing new intelligence products for the client.
