About The Position

San Francisco AIDS Foundation is seeking a part-time (~20 hours/week), remote, temporary email and digital producer from May 11 – (approximately) June 30, 2026. Hours and availability are up for discussion. Joining the marketing & communication team, the individual will play a central role in fundraising, communication, and special events that support our mission and service provision. They will be responsible for building and sending emails, making website updates, and coordinating updates to our content management system. We are seeking an individual who is an expert organizer, multi-tasker, and solution-oriented collaborator who can thrive in a deadline-driven environment. Essentially, the individual will support four areas of work: 1) Making website updates on WordPress to our main site, SFAF.org, and our suite of fundraising event pages that are hosted on GoFundMePro (Classy) and DonorDrive. These include Cycle to Zero and Tribute Gala. 2) Building and scheduling approximately 4-6 emails per month in Pardot.

Requirements

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience building email marketing campaigns and strong familiarity with enterprise email service providers, especially Pardot.
  • Extensive experience with web content management systems (CMS), especially WordPress.
  • Experience with Linux, Apache, SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript.
  • Software skills: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment like computers, copiers, and phones.
  • Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
  • 4-6+ years’ experience in digital production, email marketing, web development, or a closely related experience.
  • Exceptionally collaborative style; Good at working with colleagues in different departments with different, sometimes opposing, objectives.
  • Must be comfortable publishing content related to sexual health, harm reduction, and HIV prevention and treatment. SFAF's key audiences include gay and bi men, people who use drugs, queer people of color, and trans and gender non-conforming people.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Asana is a plus.
  • Familiarity with APIs and API integrations a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects using tools like Asana, ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Build, schedule, and deploy email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, fundraising appeals, event promotions, and automated journeys. Manage the end-to-end process.
  • Maintain and improve a portfolio of websites, including sfaf.org and P2P fundraising platforms using CMS tools (WordPress).
  • Work closely with our philanthropy and marketing & communications teams to execute email fundraising and event campaigns.
