As a Security Officer Armed Response Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible armed presence while following all post orders, use of force guidelines, and Allied Universal protocols related to weapons handling, reporting, and incident response.
• Document observed activity, suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or incidents in a clear manner and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
