Elevator Worker - Tuscola, IL
About The Position
This is a full-time, hourly-level position based in Tuscola, Illinois. Potential assignments include dumping and loading railcars and trucks, operating a grain dryer, assisting with grain handling, performing general housekeeping duties, and completing general maintenance as needed. Employees must follow company safety procedures and support ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture. The position requires regular attendance, the ability to work independently and with a team, and a professional, positive, and respectful attitude. Successful completion of a background check is required.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture.
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
- Meet the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing and sitting; working in confined spaces and at heights; bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs and ladders; working in heat, cold, dust, and other conditions; and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
- Ability to work independently while remaining flexible enough to work in a team setting.
- Maintain a professional image and a positive, respectful attitude.
- Successfully complete a background check.
