About The Position

Right Way Elevator (RW) is part of American Elevator Group (AEG), the largest independent elevator service company in North America. AEG is rapidly growing and is looking for an experienced Mechanic to work in the St. Petersburg/Tampa, FL metro area. The role involves providing repair services on rack and pinion and some hydraulic elevators, ensuring elevators are in proper working order.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanic
• Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and/or related technical documents
• Experience as a route mechanic
• Ability to follow established safety, maintenance and/or testing procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with rack & pinion repair
• Crane repair experience
• CET is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing repair services on rack and pinion and some hydraulic elevators
• Ensuring elevators are in proper working order
• Reading blueprints, technical manuals and/or related technical documents
• Following established safety, maintenance and/or testing procedures
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical malfunctions
