About The Position

Residential Elevators is seeking motivated individuals for a full-time, paid Elevator Mechanic Apprentice position in the Tampa, FL area. This program is designed for individuals looking to start a long-term career in a skilled trade. Apprentices will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced mechanics to learn the skills needed to install and service residential elevators. Most apprentices are promoted to Service Technician or Installation Mechanic within 12-18 months, with earning potential of $60K-$90K+ after promotion. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Able and willing to travel up to 90% (mostly regional travel from Tampa, FL)
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and doing hard physical work
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in tight spaces
• Know how to safely use hand tools
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be 21 years of age and over to drive on company business

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, or elevator industries
• Military background - veterans encouraged to apply!
• A customer-first attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities
