Elevator Install Mechanic Apprentice - Tampa, FL
About The Position
This full-time, paid position is designed for motivated individuals looking to start a long-term career. You’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced elevator mechanics, learning the skills needed to install and service residential elevators. Most Apprentices are promoted within 12–18 months to Service Technician or Installation Mechanic - with earning potential of $60K–$90K+ after promotion. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Able and willing to travel up to 90% (mostly regional travel from Tampa, FL)
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and doing hard physical work
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in tight spaces
- Know how to safely use hand tools
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- 21 years of age and over to drive on company business
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, or elevator industries
- Military background - veterans encouraged to apply!
- A customer-first attitude and willingness to learn
