Elementary Volleyball Activity Leader
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive Coaches to teach beginner-level programs for children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person, and all lesson plans and equipment are provided. Coaches help create a fun, active, safe, and supportive learning environment for young players. The posting lists regular weekday coaching opportunities for tennis and other programs at $18–$24 per hour, generally Monday–Friday from around 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with back-to-back sessions available. It also lists Saturday tennis clinics at $18–$24 per hour, scheduled Saturdays and/or Sundays, with back-to-back sessions available. These opportunities are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. Coaches must attend two unpaid training/shadowing sessions, each lasting 2–3 hours.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with sessions lasting 2–3 hours each.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
