About The Position

Lead beginner-level volleyball activities for children ages 5–10 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Programs run Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Coaches typically teach one approximately one-hour class per day, with the possibility of an additional 30 minutes of pre-care. This is a part-time, in-person position requiring 2–5 hours per week. Pay is $50–$65 per session, and the company provides all equipment. Coaches must have reliable transportation and live locally. A two-day training or shadowing session is required before starting.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old when applying.
Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
Must enjoy working with children in a positive and active setting.
Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
Must already be eligible to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the sport being applied for, coaching, or working with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
Manage classes of 8–16 students and maintain a positive, fun, and energetic environment.
Attend a two-day training or shadowing session before starting.
Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents and school staff.
Capture a few class photos for documentation.
Provide a photo and short biography for the company website and introduce your sports experience.
