About The Position

Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of The Rock Family Worship Center, is seeking a passionate, faith-driven teacher for its 4th-grade students. The teacher will promote academic excellence and character development by creating a dynamic, engaging, supportive, and enriching classroom environment and integrating biblical principles into daily instruction. The position has a 189-day contract term, and salary is based on education and experience. Applicants and employees who meet the conditions specified in the Code of Alabama 1975 §16-22A-5(b) are subject to a criminal history background information check.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited university.
Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject-area endorsement(s) and grade level.
Strong instructional abilities.
Classroom management skills.
Commitment to faith-based education.

Responsibilities

Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and classroom culture.
Model Christ-like behavior in interactions with students, staff, and families.
Participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
Use a variety of teaching techniques to enhance student engagement and learning.
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior.
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
Provide timely feedback on student progress and development.
Engage in professional development to continually improve teaching practices.
