About The Position

Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of The Rock Family Worship Center, is seeking a passionate and faith-driven Elementary Teacher: 4th Grade to inspire academic excellence and character development in students. The ideal candidate will foster a dynamic, engaging, and supportive enriching classroom environment while integrating biblical principles into daily instruction.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited university.
Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) and grade level.
Strong instructional abilities, classroom management, and commitment to faith-based education.
Criminal history background information check is required for applicants seeking positions with unsupervised access to children.

Responsibilities

Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and classroom culture.
Model Christ-like behavior in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
Actively participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to enhance student engagement and learning.
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior.
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
Provide timely feedback on student progress and development.
Engage in professional development to continually improve teaching practices.
