About The Position
We are looking for a supportive, dedicated, qualified teacher to join our mission helping students learn core academic concepts and preparing them with the tools, skills and habits of mind to become successful adults able to navigate their own futures.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- MA Certification required
- Experience in elementary education
- Effective oral, written communication and presentation skills
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
Responsibilities
- Implement rigorous academic curriculum, with the necessary supports for every student
- Plan and implement lessons that are aligned to State Standards
- Work collaboratively with your classroom teacher associate
- Engage children utilizing best practices, data and creativity
- Complete report cards, utilizing data compiled throughout each trimester
- Prepare, administer and analyze formative and summative assessments
- Maintain an orderly and safe classroom and support school-wide discipline process
- Attend weekly professional development meetings, cluster meetings, and coaching sessions
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and families
