About The Position

Royal ISD is seeking qualified, student-centered staff to support our Elementary Summer School Program for Summer 2026. This program is designed to provide meaningful summer learning opportunities to help students strengthen academic skills, support language development, and prepare for success in the upcoming school year. This posting is open to internal applicants only.

Requirements

• Valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for assignment.
• Bilingual and/or ESL certification required for bilingual and ESL positions.
• Experience working with elementary students.
• Ability to plan and deliver focused instruction aligned to student needs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with campus and district staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic instruction and student support during the summer program to address learning gaps, strengthen language development, and prepare elementary students for success in the upcoming school year.
• Provide effective instruction and intervention in assigned content areas.
• Support language acquisition and academic growth for participating students.
• Maintain accurate attendance and student progress records.
• Support a positive and structured learning environment.
• Participate in required planning, training, and program procedures.
• Follow all Royal ISD expectations, board policies, and summer school guidelines.
