The Parish School is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 26-27 school year in our Elementary department for temporary leave coverage. This role offers a camp-like work environment and the opportunity to collaborate with creative and nurturing Educational and Therapeutic Professionals. The Elementary SLP will provide classroom-based group language therapy, including assessment, development, and implementation of Therapy Care Plan (TCP) goals. The therapist will plan and deliver lessons focused on language, social pragmatics, and executive function skills for individual students and groups. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the SLP will integrate therapeutic strategies and curricula to support the whole child's development, encompassing academic and social-emotional domains. Intervention is delivered in a nurturing, multisensory, and nature-based educational environment. With appropriate training, the SLP may also engage in small group therapeutic reading intervention.
