About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a full-time Elementary Special Education Teacher to support students in a Michigan school district throughout the 2026–2027 school year. This role is centered on individualized instruction, meaningful student progress, and collaboration. You’ll tailor lessons to different learning styles, provide targeted support, and use student performance data to guide instruction. Working alongside teachers, specialists, and families, you’ll help create a classroom environment where students can participate, develop new skills, and work toward their individual goals.

Requirements

• Strong classroom organization and communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related discipline
• Ability to adapt instruction for students with varying learning needs
• Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and student support professionals
• Current Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement, or eligibility to obtain the required credential

• Experience in a resource, inclusion, or self-contained classroom

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction
• Modify curriculum, activities, and teaching strategies to address student needs
• Monitor academic and developmental progress

• Help maintain consistent inclusive practices across learning environments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
