About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to elementary school students in Sodus, New York. The nurse will promote student health, safety, and participation in daily educational activities; monitor health needs, including pediatric diabetes management; and respond appropriately to medical concerns. The position involves collaborating with school staff on care plans, maintaining accurate health records, and supporting a safe learning environment. The nurse will provide consistent coverage throughout the school day during a long-term substitute assignment.

Requirements

• Active New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current American Heart Association CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of pediatric care and pediatric diabetes management.
• Ability to support elementary-aged students in a school setting.
