About The Position
Eastpointe Community Schools is seeking a certified Elementary Specials Teacher for Physical Education. This role involves developing a school culture of pride and high achievement, differentiating learning for each student, and fostering student passion and proactivity in the subject. The district is focused on transforming lives through a partnership with MISD, MDE, and UVA-PLE, aiming for rapid district turnaround by increasing educational expectations, developing a supportive culture, and nurturing students' academic, behavioral, and interpersonal needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with Content Area Major, or beyond
- State of Michigan Teaching Certification in Physical Education/Health (MC)
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Successful Classroom teaching experience
