About The Position

This is a part-time, permanent position for an Elementary Paraeducator working 6 hours per day at Orangevale Open TK-8. The role involves working with groups of children and requires specific qualifications and materials to be submitted with the application. The position is part of the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule and includes benefits. The work year is 9 months/year, 206 days/year, and the work day is 6 hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:55 AM to 3:25 PM.

Non-Title Sites: Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background.

Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalent and one document [A or B] from the following list: [A] Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam will be accepted. OR [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
Title I Sites: Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation [A, B, C, or D item] from the following list: [A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam accepted. OR [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) OR [C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units) OR [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
