About The Position

The Richmond R-XVI School District is currently accepting applications for an Elementary Music Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate should have proper certification, excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Grade Level Expectations/Missouri Learning Standards. Ideal candidates should also possess diverse instructional strategies for curriculum implementation, knowledge and experience in differentiated instruction for all levels of learners, strong classroom management and willingness to collaborate and work in a teaching team environment. A working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities is preferred. The ability to communicate with students, parents and colleagues is essential. The Richmond R-XVI School District is an accredited 3A school district, located approximately 45 miles northeast of Downtown Kansas City, MO with just under 6,000 residents and a Pre K-12 population of approximately 1500.
