About The Position

Cole Valley Christian Schools is seeking a Christ-following and dependable Instructional Aide to support a classroom teacher and work with elementary students. The role reinforces foundational academic skills and helps foster a positive, faith-based classroom environment. The aide is expected to support students’ spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional development and to model Christian character in and outside the workplace.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing attitude toward young learners.
Comfort leading students in a small-group center.
Desire to invest in and disciple students in their relationship with the Lord.
Evidence of a teachable heart, humility, and a gentle spirit.
Ability to work in unity as part of a team and serve others.
Profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accept without reservation the Statement of Faith of Cole Valley Christian Schools.
Have a history of faithfully attending and financially supporting a Bible-believing church.
Have a verifiable history of living and modeling Christian character in personal and professional life.
Faithfully pursue life in Christ in and out of the workplace as a condition of continuing in this ministry position.
Be willing to submit to school oversight, cooperate with school authorities, and adhere to School Board policies in letter and intent.

Responsibilities

Assist the teacher with daily lessons in reading, writing, math, and other subjects.
Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce instruction.
Provide classroom supervision during activities, transitions, and recess.
Help prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources.
Support classroom management and encourage positive behavior.
Assist with grading simple assignments and tracking student progress.
Participate in prayer, Bible lessons, chapel, and biblical lesson integration.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
Communicate effectively with the teacher and school staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Understand, appreciate, love, and nurture students entrusted to the employee, supporting their spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional development.
