Part-Time Elementary Instructional Aide
About The Position
Cole Valley Christian Schools is seeking a dependable, Christ-following Instructional Aide to support an elementary classroom teacher. The role works closely with young students to reinforce foundational academic skills and foster a positive, faith-based classroom environment. The aide assists with lessons and classroom activities, supports student learning and behavior, and helps maintain an organized and safe classroom. The position is part-time at 28 hours per week. The starting wage is $12.00 per hour, with actual salary dependent on experience. The start date is immediate.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Must be comfortable leading students in a small-group center.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing attitude toward young learners.
- Desire to invest in and disciple students in their relationship with the Lord.
- Evidence of a teachable heart, humility, and a gentle spirit.
- Ability to work in unity as part of a team and serve others.
- Profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, accept without reservation Cole Valley Christian Schools' Statement of Faith, and have a history of faithfully attending and financially supporting a Bible-believing church.
- Have a verifiable history of living and modeling Christian character in personal and professional life, and continue to faithfully pursue life in Christ in and out of the workplace.
- Be willing to submit to school oversight and comply with School Board policies in letter and intent.
- Strive to understand, appreciate, love, and nurture students and support their spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional development.

Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with daily lessons in reading, writing, math, and other subjects.
- Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce instruction.
- Provide classroom supervision during activities, transitions, and recess.
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources.
- Support classroom management and encourage positive behavior.
- Assist with grading simple assignments and tracking student progress.
- Participate in prayer, Bible lessons, chapel, and biblical lesson integration.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
- Communicate effectively with the teacher and school staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
