About The Position

This position is for an Elementary Food Service Manager working 7 hours a day for 9 months a year. Applicants must provide a three (3) year work history, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work, in the “Experience and Credentials” section of their application.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or other equivalent (General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
  • One (1) year of institutional, commercial, and/or school district food service experience preparing and/or serving food.
  • Applicant/Employee must be able to provide their own transportation.
  • Current SNHD Food Handler Safety Training Card. Card must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
  • Current Food Protection Manager Certification (i.e., ServSafe). Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification provided by CCSD Food Service Department verifying that required Elementary Food Service Manager training has been successfully completed within the first year of employment.
