About The Position

Energetic and Supportive Assistant Principal Position: We’re looking for an Assistant Principal who brings enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and a team-first mindset to support students, staff, and families every step of the way. This role requires someone who is a student champion, culture builder, team player, problem-solving pro, communication expert, instructional leader, and calm under pressure.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching and administration; or equivalent combination of education/experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Valid South Carolina Certificate in one of the following areas: Elementary Principal (Tier I, Tier II) or Elementary Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Support the Principal’s Vision: Help lead and implement school initiatives that promote academic excellence and student well-being.
  • Foster Positive Student Behavior: Oversee student discipline with a focus on fairness, growth, and restorative practices.
  • Encourage Instructional Excellence: Work with teachers to enhance curriculum, teaching strategies, and student engagement.
  • Build Relationships: Strengthen connections with students, families, and staff to create a strong school community.
  • Oversee School Operations: Assist in managing daily logistics, schedules, safety protocols, and event planning.
  • Support Teacher Development: Provide coaching, feedback, and professional learning opportunities to help teachers grow.
  • Lead with Energy and Enthusiasm: Be a visible, approachable, and inspiring presence throughout the school.
