This is an off-campus work-study position with Community For Learning (CFL) located throughout the Albuquerque Metro Area. CFL Project SEAL provides social, emotional & academic learning in fifteen Albuquerque school communities, primarily with Kinder-5th grade students. The program is designed to help at-risk students build resiliency, improve academic skills, and promote social skills. Supervisors will work with CFL staff to create a safe, educated, effective, and empowered school community that will improve the lives of all participants. Programming includes opportunities to develop academic skills, engage in recreation and outdoor play, participate in meaningful service-learning projects, enhance creativity and express themselves through art, explore and develop interests and talents, learn to work as part of a team, develop positive character traits, and develop leadership skills.
