Electrophysiology Technologist
About The Position
The Electrophysiology Technologist (EPT) is a cardiovascular or radiologic technologist who has completed the competencies identified in the EPT orientation. Using specialized equipment and working under the direction of a qualified physician, the EPT performs patient procedures, including fluoroscopy and digital image capture, to support accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrhythmias while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort. The role is with Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology.
- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire, or Washington Radiologic Technologist Certification upon hire.
- National certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire, or National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in a cardiovascular laboratory.
- Electrophysiology Technologist experience.
