Requirements

  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology School
  • Current and valid NYS License in Diagnostic Radiography
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organization skills
  • Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 2 years Radiology experience
  • 1 - 2 years Experience in electrophysiology lab
  • Experience with Hemodynamic monitoring systems used in EP Labs

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Preps EP rooms and patient for procedures. Performs fluoroscopy and circulates in room during procedures. Ensures clear imaging and proper radiation safety of patient/staff.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots fluoroscopic equipment and electrophysiology diagnostic equipment.
  • Participates in orientation of new employees as needed. Works to assure departmental compliance with approved budget. Responsible for maintaining inventory (orders, stock) of EP supplies.
  • Properly addresses malfunctioning fluoroEP lab equipment. Participates in problem identification and problem solving in work environment.
