Requirements

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology School.
• Current and valid NYS License in Diagnostic Radiography.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organization skills.
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• 1 - 2 years Radiology experience.
• 1 - 2 years Experience in electrophysiology lab.
• Experience with Hemodynamic monitoring systems used in EP Labs.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Preps EP rooms and patient for procedures.
• Performs fluoroscopy and circulates in room during procedures.
• Ensures clear imaging and proper radiation safety of patient/staff.
• Maintains and troubleshoots fluoroscopic equipment and electrophysiology diagnostic equipment.
• Participates in orientation of new employees as needed.
• Works to assure departmental compliance with approved budget.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory (orders, stock) of EP supplies.
• Properly addresses malfunctioning fluoroEP lab equipment.
• Participates in problem identification and problem solving in work environment.
