Established Cardiology practice with 14 Physicians and 11 Advanced Practice Providers who provide coverage at UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's Hospital Main office is located in Cedar Rapids, with satellite offices in Manchester and Anamosa Diverse practice covers sub-specialization in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular, electrophysiology and heart failure Part of a large multi-specialty group, including primary care, providing a built-in referral base Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• Cardiology experience preferred
• ACLS required upon hiring
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• 10-12 patients/day in clinic and inpatient setting
• Full time position
• Combined inpatient and outpatient position, supporting the EP physician team in the hospital and the office
• NO call requirement
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
