About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Maintenance team. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting all plant electrical/electronic systems, gathering equipment information for entry into Maximo, and creating/performing preventative maintenance procedures. The technician will also be responsible for creating spare parts lists, entering requisitions, and performing other related duties as needed.

Requirements

• Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
• Associates degree in Electronics/Instrumentation and/or completion of a 4-year Apprenticeship or 5 years of industrial electronics maintenance experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated strong initiative in current position
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles
• Must provide own tools for this position
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, call-ins and other times as required

Nice To Haves

• Excellent computer skills
• PLC experience
• AC variable speed drive experience
• Networking experience
• Good mechanical skills and/or previous technical training

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all plant electrical/electronic systems
• Gather information on equipment and enter in Maximo
