Requirements

  • Associates Of Science in Electronics Technology, vocational graduate or armed forces school equivalent
  • Five years related experience
  • Oregon Electrician License
  • Demonstrates the ability to operate window/based software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical technical expertise and skilled maintenance, ensuring the optimal functionality and reliability of complex electronic systems and equipment.
  • Expertly diagnose and repair electronic components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Calibrate instruments.
  • Meticulously document all service activities to uphold the highest standards of performance and safety.
  • Install, repair and calibrate nurse call system, fire alarm system, telecommunication system, emergency radio communication system, overhead paging system, infant abduction system, access control system, CATV, CCTV, electronic security system and digital camera surveillance system using appropriate test equipment and tools.
  • May act as crew leader during new installations.
  • Monitors and inspects new installations to insure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Perform periodic assurance and safety inspections on assigned equipment using automated and manual analyzers and simulators.
  • Maintains documentation on all work performed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
