About The Position

This role is for an Electronics Technician I, which is a core technical role with a growth path. Despite the title, it is not an entry-level position. The company is seeking candidates with a 2-year technical degree (Engineering) and hands-on experience in electronics, electrical systems, or communications. This role offers the opportunity to apply existing skills in a highly specialized electric utility environment while preparing to advance into a Communications & Relay Technician position within approximately three years.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree (Engineering)
• Hands-on experience in electronics, electrical systems, or communications

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot electronic and SCADA communication systems
• Support protective relay and system reliability functions
• Work in substations and field environments on critical infrastructure
