About The Position

This role is for an Electronics Technician I, which is a core technical role with a growth path. Despite the title, this is not an entry-level position. Candidates are sought with a 2-year technical degree (Engineering) and hands-on experience in electronics, electrical systems, or communications. This role offers the opportunity to apply existing skills in a highly specialized electric utility environment while preparing to advance into a Communications & Relay Technician position within approximately three years. The work involves maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and SCADA communication systems, supporting protective relay and system reliability functions, and working in substations and field environments on critical infrastructure. This is a high-paying position designed for skilled technicians with a clear, structured advancement into a specialized role, supporting safe and reliable power delivery.

Requirements
